Doulas are more valuable than ever during this time of uncertainty, policy changes, and anxiety. Due to the COVID-19 virus, most hospitals are only allowing one support person to accompany the birthing birthing during labor, birth, and early postpartum. This means that birth doula support has transitioned from in-person to virtual support if the doula is not the main support person. Baltimore Doula Project doulas are committed to making birth doula care during this challenging time accessible, informed, creative, and just as valuable.

OUR SERVICES INCLUDE:

  • Free video consultation

  • 2 virtual prenatal meetings

  • Unlimited email and phone support throughout pregnancy

  • On call 24/7 from 37 weeks until birth

  • Continuous virtual support throughout labor, birth and immediate postpartum

  • Partner/family support during labor

  • Support during baby’s first feeding

  • 1 virtual postpartum follow-up meeting
